Past Activities

In Haiti, Bridge to Humanity began its mission by supporting orphanages and providing educational opportunities for children living in extreme poverty. Many of these children had to beg or work on the streets, missing out on basic education. Bridge to Humanity launched a tutoring program to equip them with fundamental reading and writing skills, helping prepare them for formal schooling. The organization also provided financial support for orphanage meals, ensuring children received proper nutrition. However, due to political instability in Haiti, Bridge to Humanity shifted its focus from Haiti to other regions after 2016.

In 2018, Bridge to Humanity extended its efforts to the Amazon region in Colombia, partnering with local organizations to support children from aboriginal tribes. The organization focused on providing clean water systems to improve living conditions in a local town. Their work aimed to address the basic needs of the community, ensuring access to safe drinking water and contributing to the well-being of the children and their families living in the region. This initiative marked a significant expansion of Bridge to Humanity’s mission to improve life for underprivileged communities.
